Week 1 — Taking Action On Your Fears
We all have fears about something. You call them whatever you want. You can call it worry, you can call it tension, stressed, being uptight. This message will investigate some of the ways fear grips our lives, and how God helps us to reveal those fears and begin to activate our faith to deal with those fears.
Week 2 — How to Fail Forward
Fear of failure typically paralyzes us. We often times get stuck in decision making or let past failures control our actions. Failure prevents us from trying anything new or taking risks. In this message, get a perspective change and learn how to tackle this fear of failure and let God help us fail forward and to move on through our fear of failure, into the more abundant and full life God has in mind for us.
Week 3 — Overcoming the Fear of Rejection
There's a big difference between the fear of failure and the fear of rejection. Both fears are very real but the fear of failure focuses on my performance - what I do. Then there is the fear of rejection that focuses on me as a person - who I am. Oftentimes, we stop enjoying life because the people in our lives act kind of smug and we fear their rejection. You'll learn about some traps that happen in our lives because of our fear of rejection, and helps students discover why they are so confused about what's outside versus what's inside their heart, and how to break free of these fears.
Week 4 — Overcoming the Fear of Commitment
Each of us in our lives are committed to different things. Some of us are dealing with relationships, others of us are dealing with committing to our families, to school or to friends. Why are there fears in commitment? Why do we fear a valid commitment? Commitment is huge.
