Physical VBS products are not required for the VBS Training LAB experience. You'll receive a plethora of digital resources to bring your training time to life, as well as a short list of super-easy-to-find, everyday items required for some fun hands-on experiences.

Your church registration fee permits you to share this content only with members of your church. You may not reproduce, duplicate, post, or make available for public download any of the content from Group's VBS Training LAB.
Several hours of training content will be available, but we know your time is valuable. We've created short video segments by station or topic, so you only need to watch the sections that pertain to your role in VBS. And because it's on-demand, you can go back and rewatch segments as many times as you like! This is super helpful, especially when it comes to things like decorating!
Yes! We've even provided tips on how to create an exciting team-building event or kickoff to your VBS planning! Of course, we'll provide COVID-friendly protocols to make this a safe and fun team-building event. This will be available on the VBS Training LAB homepage.
We recommend watching the on-demand segments before participating in the live online Q & A's. Jot down any questions you may have as you watch the video segments so you'll be prepared to submit them in advance or ask them live.
Ideally a computer with a high-speed internet connection, but a tablet or mobile device will work if needed. A larger screen enables more effective viewing!
We'll be using Zoom. If you don't have a Zoom account, be sure to create an account and then download the FREE "Zoom Client for Meetings" application to your device or desktop (not the Zoom web client).

We'll host them virtually on Zoom, and they will be topic/station-based. Because these sessions are networking opportunities, we request that participants sign on with a device that has video camera and microphone-use enabled. We'll utilize Zoom Rooms for idea sharing, discussion, and making new friends with VBS leaders in your neighborhood or across the country. These will be hosted by the Group VBS Team and veteran VBS leaders.
All things related to leading the 2021 Group VBS program you're using at your church! See the schedule for topics and dates on the Live Q & A Event tab found on the VBS Training LAB homepage. You'll have an opportunity to submit questions prior to the event, as well as ask during the live session.
Saturday mornings and Thursday evenings. Please register for the session that works best with your schedule and mark your calendars! These will be available from the end of February through mid-May. Registration will close two days prior to the event.

Yes! To provide effective interaction with other VBS leaders and maximize networking conversations, space will be limited. We all know what it's like to have too many people talking at once in a Zoom meeting!
We know these sessions are tons of fun and you may want to attend multiple times, but please limit your attendance to one session. This enables us to accommodate training opportunities for as many VBS leaders as possible.
No worries! You have everything you need to prepare for an incredible VBS in the on-demand training videos. If you have questions, nothing can replicate your live interaction with other VBS leaders. We'll have multiple opportunities available to try to accommodate schedules. We hope you'll register early and book the time in your calendar as if you were attending an in-person event.
Unfortunately, no. Part of the church registration fee gives you exclusive access to the live online Q & A events. The Q & A events are private and only available to churches that have registered for Group's VBS Training LAB.
