Every title in the Lifetree Small Group Series provides your small group with four powerful video-based sessions, each focusing on a compelling, relevant topic. Each session features a real-life story related to the topic, a deep Bible connection, and on-screen questions designed to draw group members into thoughtful discussion and bring them closer to each other— and to God! No leader guide or participant guide required.

In this title you get four true stories of people who asked hard faith questions and discovered that God is bigger than any doubt.
Engage your small group with these edge-of-your-seat stories…:
  • Can God Love a Mess Like Me? Join the best-selling author of The Shack, William Paul Young, as he describes a life of abuse, scandal, and shame.
  • The Bible —Meet Eugene Peterson, author of The Message, as you consider whether the Bible is really all it's said to be.
  • Science and Religion Listen as the Pope's astronomer weighs in on whether faith and science can truly mix.
  • Only One Way to God? Hear one woman grapple with whether Jesus really is the only way to God.

With every title in the Lifetree Small Group Series, leaders get all this:
  • Biblical depth —There's no hopscotching from one verse to another. Instead, each session zeroes in on one relevant passage and invites honest, authentic conversation.
  • No-prep plug-and-play Compelling questions and video segments for all four sessions are in your downloadable zip file. No leader guide or participant guide needed.
  • Flexibility —Every session reinforces the theme but stands alone. Perfect for busy people who can't make every small group meeting.
  • Relevant topics —These are the topics small groups want to explore —topics that build faith, …grow hope…, and draw them closer to God.

Q: Would this be relevant for use in a seeker oriented meeting, rather than a group of mostly Christians? We're planning an 'investigating faith' evening as part of a community festival and are trying to decide what format to use. It is designed to encourage seekers to have a safe place to explore faith and ask questions, with the hope of starting an ongoing seeker small group.

A: These videos were originally used in our Lifetree Cafes. Lifetree Cafe is a conversation cafe. A safe place where anyone can come, Christian or non, and experience stories and conversation on thought-provoking topics relating to life and faith. It sounds to me like it would be the perfect fit for your event.
