Every Lifetree Small Group session is based on a powerful video. Each session features a real-life story, a deep Bible connection, and on-screen questions designed to draw group members into thoughtful discussion and bring them closer to each otherand to God! No leader guide or participant guide required.
In this session, your small group will engage in conversation and consider questions such as:
What does it take to beat overwhelming odds? To overcome hardship? And, how do you do it without losing the people in your life who matter most?
This session features the story of Patrick Henry Hughes and his father, Patrick John Hughes. Patrick Henry was born without eyes or the ability to extend his limbs. Though in a wheelchair, Hughes played in a collegiate marching band and went on to a career in musicwith the help of his father along the way.
Your small group members will hear from both father and son and launch into a conversation about the people whove helped them
about times God has used them to help others
and about what goals are worth pursuing at any cost.
