Although Moldova is the poorest country in Europe, it has incredible countryside, rocky hills, forests, intricate Soviet architecture, vineyard, and intriguing historical sites make it a favorable place to visit. And while the European-style food is just unique enough to offer culinary adventure, it’s also familiar enough to the pickier of eaters. Weaving, crafts, pottery, and traditional Moldovan wear give travelers a taste of the rich culture and history. Travel to Moldova and you’ll have an opportunity to experience both the city life and the rich countryside.
In partnership with Operation Mobilization and Group’s Lifetree Adventures, you may choose among construction or outreach adventures. Whichever trip you choose to Moldova, your experience will be filled with rich culture, hearty foods, beautiful countryside, and local believers whom you’ll be able to work with hand in hand.
On the outreach adventure, you’ll travel throughout the beautiful countryside, filled with agriculture, as you visit villages and reach out to children, youth, and elderly. Along with a cross-cultural team and in partnership with the local churches, you’ll plan and facilitate a children’s day camp and visit families with elderly family members staying in their homes. You’ll be able to experience and lead a worship gathering with local Moldovan believers and be a key part in spreading the gospel to people in the villages.
Help the poorest country in Europe improve and grow! You'll reach out to children, youth, and elderly in villages. You'll spend your time:
- Serving alongside a local church
- Serving the village in a variety of ways
Whether you're sharing a Bible story with children or distributing food to the elderly in a small village, you'll serve others while you grow in your own relationship with God.
Anyone with a heart to serve others and a desire to grow closer to God is welcome to join us on a Lifetree Adventure. We welcome a blend of individuals and groups. Our domestic mission trips are designed with youth groups in mind, but many of our international trips are ideal for youth groups, too. International Lifetree Adventures are ideal for any group from your church, an individual with a heart for Christian service, or any configuration of families. We’ve had parent/child travelers looking to share an experience before high school graduation, women’s groups, a group of families from a congregation, men’s groups, and individuals seeking a new adventure. Truly any variety of ages, groups, and backgrounds are welcome. Your mission adventure concierge can give you more details, and help you discover which trip is best for you and/or your group.
The Lifetree Adventures team provides care to nearly all the details of your trip, including lodging, meals, project coordination and supplies during the mission experience, discipleship programming and materials, on-site support crew, and a T-shirt for every participant. The fee does not include transportation or meals to and from the trip location or during your time off.
