International Ecuador

South American Adventure

The Adventure

Ecuador is a melting pot of cultures, and you might hear up to 10 native languages as you travel the country! Known for its diverse culture and delicious seafood, Guayaquil is Ecuador’s largest city. Snow-topped volcanoes offer hiking and biking trails, and the Amazon jungle holds wildlife watching, horseback riding, and paragliding. Politically, Ecuador is currently one of the safest countries in South America.

On your Lifetree Adventure to Ecuador, your group will live and work with local families. You’ll help a hillside community prepare for the upcoming rainy season with a variety of construction projects. You might even help with classes for emergency and first-aid training, introducing technology, or craft activities with kids.

The Service

Laugh, teach, and build at a hillside community of 30,000 people! You'll experience what daily life in a village is like as you stay with a friendly host family. You'll help the village with:

  • Skills Development
  • Construction
  • Kids, Families

After spending the week helping the village get ready for the upcoming rainy season, you'll spend a few days sightseeing in the beautiful country of Ecuador!

The Faq

Anyone with a heart to serve others and a desire to grow closer to God is welcome to join us on a Lifetree Adventure. We welcome a blend of individuals and groups. Our domestic mission trips are designed with youth groups in mind, but many of our international trips are ideal for youth groups, too. International Lifetree Adventures are ideal for any group from your church, an individual with a heart for Christian service, or any configuration of families. We’ve had parent/child travelers looking to share an experience before high school graduation, women’s groups, a group of families from a congregation, men’s groups, and individuals seeking a new adventure. Truly any variety of ages, groups, and backgrounds are welcome. Your mission adventure concierge can give you more details, and help you discover which trip is best for you and/or your group.

The Lifetree Adventures team provides care to nearly all the details of your trip, including lodging, meals, project coordination and supplies during the mission experience, discipleship programming and materials, on-site support crew, and a T-shirt for every participant. The fee does not include transportation or meals to and from the trip location or during your time off.
