Overview

Are you ready to create an inviting getaway for your next retreat? Create a retreat experience that women will be excited about!  Get refreshed and renewed, and feel your relationship with God grow as you are enveloped in his love and grow new relationships.  We make it easy for you to make a professional retreat.

Relationships

Friendships are important. Critical, even! The best way to encourage friendships is to give opportunities for them to develop! Activities, worship, and time together all contribute to women sharing stories and growing closer to each other. The Cozy Mountain Lodge retreat will help you do just that! Did you know…Research shows that those who have friends at church are more likely to be involved!

Deepening Faith

The purpose of this entire experience is to have women feel affirmed and encouraged to grow closer to Jesus. By diving into the beautiful story of Ruth and Naomi, women will learn lessons that apply to their daily life, leaving them excited to continue their journey with God and with each other.

Stress-free planning

The Cozy Mountain Lodge Director Kit is all-inclusive. What does that mean for you? You get detailed schedules, volunteer descriptions, music, planning tips, and more. We provide it all so you can plan with ease. No matter how much experience you have, the guides provided will save you hours of time!

each session focuses on different aspects of the story of Ruth and Naomi and uses mountain imagery and metaphors to relate the story to each of us. They can all be done in the same room--there’s no need for multiple rooms! Featuring both large and small groups, the sessions can be formatted to work for any time frame, in any location!

Making God your firm foundation. Through a crazy building challenge, women will see how we’re all given different “building materials” in life as they explore the first chapter in Ruth. Includes worship, Bible study, and a fun group activity.

Games! Women will play familiar board games--with a new twist! Learn how to approach changes (which we all face) through the account of Ruth and Naomi.

Fun is important--it’s really one of our most basic needs! A silly skit serves as a launching point for discovery in this session, as women see the importance of supportive friends. You’ll work through Ruth 2 and engage in worship, silly fun, and support/prayer time.

A heartfelt service project. We all know someone who’s experienced hardship--perhaps it’s even been you. This session brings the hardships of Ruth and Naomi to the forefront. This also serves as a time of service by creating hearty bean soup mixes that can be given to those in need.

Jesus, our Redeemer. He’s our covering and protection. For Ruth, God provided Boaz as a covering. You’ll explore Chapter 3 of Ruth and see how Ruth’s story is a beautiful example of what Jesus Christ did for us through his death and resurrection.

A time to be still and quietly reflect on God’s Word. This session of reflection and prayer will be focused on Psalm 23. Women will work through five different stations and experience different attributes of God’s wonderful character.

Time to celebrate! Women will affirm the beautiful qualities they see in one another. It’s a time for spirits to be lifted as they look through Ruth 4.  This session will be a positive ending to your retreat!
