So when Selma Johnson told me what happened on a recent trip to El Paso, I knew it was more than coincidence…


What are Group’s Prayer Bears?

They’re 8” tall, fuzzy, and cute—flannel teddy bears that proudly proclaim the name of Jesus in three languages: English, Spanish, and French.

Velcro® strips make it easy to stuff the bears with cotton…cloth…even paper.  And the front pocket is perfect for placing a brief, encouraging note.

Initially developed for our Operation Kid-to-Kid™ program, Group’s Prayer Bears have taken on a life of their own.

They’re being used in ways we never imagined—like those below:

Like Selma, you can put a lightweight Prayer Bear in the hands of a man or woman in the military. Easy to mail and easy to carry, a Prayer Bear is a reminder of your support and prayers.
