The Michael Gungor Band’s music ranges from the wide-angle atmospherics of U2 and Coldplay to the bluesy intimacy of John Mayer. The band currently includes Michael Gungor, Lisa Gungor, Brad Waller, Brad Nyght, and Michael Rossback. And while created for the church, the lyrics range from open-hearted, full-throated adoration to stinging reminders of the ways humanity tries to limit God. Michael Gungor says, “We’re trying to make honest music that opens people’s hearts.” Gungor has received multiple Grammy nominations and is currently releasing their third album. |
