Because Columbus has such a wonderful downtown area, we thought our conference guests would most enjoy going out for meals. Columbus has a truly fabulous downtown area! If you registered for a Pre-Conference Session, your lunch will be included in your fee for that session.

The Columbus convention center is adjoining... some sessions will be in there. But, it feels like the same place!

What airport should I fly into?

It is best to fly into the Port Columbus International Airport (just 12 minutes, 7.86 miles from the Hyatt Regency Columbus Hotel)

You can easily grab a shuttle to the Hyatt Regency Columbus (we are working to get discounted shuttle rates). Another option is to grab a taxi for the quick 12 minute drive.

You can visit Expedia, Travelocity, Priceline, Hotwire or Kayak and more to book your flight.

Does KidMin offer scholarships?

At this time, we don't have any scholarship programs available. But, through Monday, May 6th we're hosting a contest by which we'll be giving away five complimentary KidMin registrations. Encourage your friends, family, and co-workers to nominate you here: http://group.com/childrens-ministry/kidmin-conference?openid=contest. You can have more than one person nominate you--just no duplicates from the same person. Please do get entered for your chance to win!

Another option that many of our friends in ministry take is to fundraise through your church and community to help cover the costs of air fare, hotel stay, and meals while you're at the conference.

Is there childcare provided and or nursing facilities?

Childcare is not provided. If you’ll be bringing your little ones, we encourage you to look into bringing a friend or family member with you to look after your kiddos while you’re attending conference sessions. We do provide a Nursing Mothers Room and will designate its location on the conference map.

On the hotel reservation for the conference, do you have to pay the entire amount of hotel stay at time of booking or do they just charge you a one night's stay at booking?

Hi, Barbara!

Our hotel contracts are set so credit or debit cards hold a reservation without any charge to the card. Once a guest arrives on site and checks in, they are requested to provide a card to guarantee payment.

Credit cards do not debit the card holders account until check out. Debit cards debit the account up front to secure payment.

Cancellation may be done without any charges up to 48 hours prior to booked arrival date. This applies to anyone making guest reservations in the room block held for KidMin.

Are there any future Conferences in California?

At this time, it's unlikely that we'll have a conference in California. Since, at this point in time, we host one conference per year, we do our very best to stay somewhat centrally located in the United States.

Friday Full-Day Add-Ons: $59 (includes lunch)

Register now so you can secure your spot at the lowest conference rates—just make a minimum deposit of $50 per person, and then pay as you go. The full amount is due August 22nd; you'll get a few e-mail reminders, but you can pay on your own schedule until then. ($50 deposit is non-refundable.)
